Maria Crosas O’Ferrel de Saldaña
This is the description that appeared with the following photographs. It’s entitled, The burial of an illustrated and venerable lady.
As revealed in these photographs, the act of accompanying the mortal remains of the illustrious Mrs. María Crosas de Saldaña to the cemetery was immense due to the public. Thus, it can be said that all took part in the last tribute. Furthermore, the entire Puerto Rican society knew how to offer her the most fragrant flowers and honor her with her great merits and exemplary virtues. Consequently, there are individuals I have met that are related to this family. So, you can contact them directly for more information. In addition, I have provided their contact information in my sources.
Genealogical Tree
In this section, please refer to my personal research on this family. The boxes shaded in green show that there is a relation between Mr. Andre Crosas & da. Ana Gualberta. Mrs. María Lina O’Ferrel Campbell & Mr. Mateo O’Ferrell Campbell are siblings.
The dates underlined or that have an asterisk are dates I could not confirm but appear correct. I would verify the dates and reach out to the individuals on ancestry.com that descend from this family as they seem to have seen the documents but did not indicate the source.
